Ephesians 5:20
“ Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ.”
Dear Friends,
While back at the Ranch in Alabama we continued to help with the clean-up of the dorms. We were able to share in Kimberly Baptist Church which we reschedule due to previous vehicle troubles and traveling from Seminole, Al. The people were a blessing to our family and George was able to do some heating and Air conditioning work for Pastor Fredrick as well. Pastor Greg Bledsoe invited us to his church about an hour north in “Bama” to preach and present the work in Alaska. A week later we went back to his church for a Christmas Party and had a great time. The people and Bro. Greg made us feel welcome. The following weekend (before we left for home) we enjoyed a day of visitation with Pastor Lee Eby (Alden Baptist Church) and the folks. It was a blessing to see a new church planted and the people out visiting twice a week. Praise God for souls being reached.
After arriving back to New Jersey for Christmas and meetings, George was contacted by some previous customers for heating service. It is wonderful how the Lord provides our every need. We were able to ride up to Michigan for a winter meeting at Silvery Lane Baptist Church (Pastor Chris Staub). Now this was not a Missionary meeting but it was set up with many missionaries in attendance. This is missions minded church and helped every missionary in attendance. We received a meeting in Ohio for that weekend; New Year’s Day. The meeting went well with George being sick and then we had to stay a couple extra days in the motel room due to illnesses. The Lord kept us out of the New Years traffic and protected us on the ride home. We had a noise thought to be a wheel bearing but turned out to be a cracked front aluminum rim. George thought himself to be “The Horse Wisperer” . He knelt down and put his hands on the wheel and felt no heat in the wheel bearing and said confidently “We’re going!”. Home for a couple of days, we noticed a great big crack in the rim. God is good! While in New Jersey we have a couple requested meetings and some more heating work. Now you know, when they are requested meetings they must be of God. We are currently awaiting one on January 22nd, February 4th & 5th, March 11th and a Missionary Conference the last week of April. We do have two meetings in Alabama to schedule between our March and April meetings. We are praying that the Lord continues to fill in the gaps. It truly is a blessing to see the Lord’s hand of guidance.
Judy’s mother is still in rehab (hip replacement from a fall) in New Jersey. Her father spent time with us from December 20th to present and they are scheduled to go back down to Florida (with Judy’s brother) this Tuesday or Wednesday (Jan.16,17 -2012)`
Prayer Request:
1. Continue to pray that the Lord continues to guide us to where he would have us.
2. Pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of the churches we are in for the people in Alaska in order for us to get there by the springtime of 2012. Then pray we find housing before we freeze to death in Sept……just kidding…..not really….
3. Please pray for Judy’s parent’s safe return to Florida and unsaved family members.
4. Continue to pray that the Lord would send individuals across our path in order for us to share their need for Jesus in their lives.
Praise; We have been able to see others come to know the Lord as their Savior while on deputation. This helps us to stay in the fight for souls.
Ga 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
May the Lord bless you with a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
In Christ’s work and love,
George & Judy Pine
